Parliament to monitor air crash probe: Faruque Sattar

ISLAMABAD: Following the second fatal air crash in a brief period, MQM leader Farooq Sattar has called for upgrading the Civil Aviation System adding that the Bhoja Airline’s crash probe would be conducted under the supervision of parliament, Geo News reported.

On arrival with the families of the plane crash victims from Karachi here, Sattar talking to media said that there was no replacement for human lives; however along with a comprehensive probe of the tragic incident the payment of compensations to those affected should be ensured.

He said that the civil aviation system also needs to be upgraded. "Answers to all the questions being raised after the incident should be provided convincingly."

Sattar added that the probe into the air crash should be conducted under the supervision of the parliament and its committees and assured taking up this matter with the prime minister for all possible help and assistance to those affected.
