PM Gilani, Bahawalpur dignitaries discuss Seraiki province

BAHAWALPUR: A major development has been reported in the creation of Seraiki province as a delegation of dignitaries of Bahalwapur called on Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani and discussed issues pertaining to the new province, Geo News reported.

According to sources, the delegation led by Makhdoom Ahmed Mehmood and Nawab of Bahawalpur discussed with the Prime Minister creation of the Seraiki province that included South Punjab and Bahawalpur.

The sources added Bahawalpur would be part of proposed Seraiki province and could be capital instead of Multan.
