KARACHI: National Institute of Child Health (NICH) doctors say there is no need of more surgical procedures on a boy baby born with six legs at Sukkur.
The baby's extra four limbs were removed in a successful operation at the NICH on April 19.
NICH deputy director Dr Arshid Domki told PPI here Monday that after the surgery the baby was recovering satisfactorily and presently there was no need of more operations.
The baby was born at Sukkur in the house of one Imran Shaikh on April 13, admitted to NICH on April 16, says Dr Arshid, adding a team of doctors would decide on April 24 if to discharge him from the hospital.
The parents of the baby are extremely happy on the successful surgery.(PPI)
