MCB declares 30% cash dividend on higher PAT

KARACHI: MCB Bank Ltd has reported a higher profit after tax of Rs 5.644 billion during the quarter ending March 31,2012 and declared a cash dividend of 30 percent.

According to financial results sent to KSE here Tuesday, the pre-tax profit of the company surged to Rs 8.656 billion during the period under review compared to Rs 7.836 billion in the same period last year.

The earning per share also improved to Rs 6.14 compared to Rs 5.46 in 2011. (APP)
