WASHINGTON: Former ambassador to US Husain Haqqani has said that he has not requested for any concession but demanded equal treatment, Geo News reported Wednesday.
While talking to Geo News from the US, the former ambassador said he has always respected the judiciary. 'The facility extended to a foreigner witness be also given to a Pakistani citizen.'
Hundreds of Pakistanis work abroad and there is no law to force them to come back, he said.
Haqqani said I will come back surely depending upon the circumstances.
'While I was in Pakistan, someone else’s statement was awaited.’
All the investigations are being done due to my association with the PPP, he noted.
