PM Gilani chairs high-level meeting on Pak security

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani chaired a high-level meeting at President House to review matters relating to Pakistan's security, Pak-US relations and the overall situation in the region.

Foreign Minister, Hina Rabbani Khar, Pakistan Ambassador to the US, Sherry Rehman, federal ministers and parliamentary leaders of the coalition parties are present at the meeting besides Army Chief General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani and ISI Chief Lt. General Zaheer-ul-Islam.

The meeting has agreed to reshape Pak-US relations in the light of the recommendations approved unanimously by the Parliament earlier this month.

The civil and military leadership also discussed issues linked to Pakistan's security and the overall situation in the region.
