Rains likely in upper parts of country

ISLAMABAD: A fresh western disturbance is also likely to affect upper parts of the country from Thursday causing scattered rain with heavy falls at times during next two to three days.

According to Met Office a shallow western disturbance is still affecting western and upper parts of the country while a low pressure persists over Balochistan.

The maximum temperature of major cities recorded on Wednesday was: Islamabad 30 degree centigrade Lahore 35, Karachi 31, Peshawar 32, Quetta 25, Muzaffarabad 28, Gilgit 30 and Murree 18 degree centigrade.
