Four killed during Lyari operation

KARACHI: Four people have been killed while at least ten others are injured as the operation against criminal elements continues in Lyari.

Police have also arrested a dozen suspected criminals from the area.

The predawn operation saw security forces being met with severe resistance in the localities hostile pockets.

Three people were injured in the Agra Taj Colony when an unknown attacker hurled hand grenades.

“The thunder of guns shook us out of sleep only to plunge us into fear”, a local resident told Geo News.

Lyari has been completely shut as the operation continues.
