QUETTA: Supreme Court Chief Justice, Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry Monday ordered that the three persons kidnapped from Jinnah Town, Shalkot on April 11 must be presented in the court on May 2, Geo News reported.
A three-member bench of the Supreme Court headed by CJ Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry was hearing the Balochistan Law and order case at the Quetta Registry.
The relatives of the missing persons were also present outside the Registry.
Four persons abducted from Kali Ismail were presented in the court during hearing.
The Chief Justice in his remarks said that law and order was yet to improve, as an NGO doctor’s corpse was found besides a lawyer was kidnapped. He has asked for the details relating to how many persons were kidnapped and recovered after April 6.
“What message are we sending, when the NGO doctor’s corpse will be going to Geneva,” CJ said in his remarks.
Chief Justice asked the Advocate General to provide the list of the relatives of the missing persons who appeared before the court within one hour.
