ISLAMABAD: A trough of western disturbance persists over northern area due to which rain, dust-thunderstorm is likely at scattered places of upper Punjab, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Kashmir/Gilgit-Baltistan including twin cities Rawalpindi and Islamabad.
According to Met Office, the hot and dry weather expected in other parts of the country. The maximum temperature of 43 degree centigrade was recorded in Chhor on Tuesday.
The maximum temperature of major cities recorded on Tuesday was: Islamabad 29 degree centigrade‚ Lahore 33‚ Karachi 42‚ Peshawar 31‚ Quetta 25‚ Gilgit and Muzaffarabad 24 degree centigrade. (PPI)
