ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari met with Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani and Army Chief General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani.
According to sources the country’s security situation along with that of the region were discussed during the meeting.
Earlier Prime Minister Gilani met with Army Chief Kayani and discussed issues related to the country’s defence.
A high-level meeting is also taking place at the Presidency which is being attended by the President, Prime Minister, Army Chief and Federal Ministers.
