ISLAMABAD: Former Pakistani ambassador to the US, Husain Haqqani on Wednesday submitted his reply in writing on the directives of the Judicial Commission probing the memo scandal, Geo News reported.

The reply says that Husain Haqqani was anxious to have his statement recorded from Washington despite illness and other risks.

He also requested the commission to provide him with a complete video record of the commission's proceedings.

In the reply, Haqqani clarified that he had not applied to obtain US nationality.

Meanwhile, Zahid Bukhari, the counsel of Husain Haqqani said the details of the use of secret funds remains with the Embassy and not the ambassador.
