Accused in Bhatti murder case set free

RAWALPINDI: Anti-terrorism court in Rawalpindi on Wednesday released the Shahbaz Bhatti murder case accused Zia-ur-Rahman with honour for lack of evidence, Geo News reported.

Rawalpindi Anti-Terrorist Court No. II Judge Rana Masood was hearing the Shahbaz Bhatti murder case here.

Police Station Islamabad I-9 SHO told the court that no evidence was found against the accused Zia-ur-Rahman being involved in the murder, which prompted Zia-ur-Rahman’s lawyer Zulfiquar to withdraw his bail petition, while the court disposed off the case.
