Karachi: Bloodletting restarts in Katti Pahari, 3 dead

KARACHI: After some respite violence revisited the Katti Pahari area of Karachi on Saturday claiming at least three lives, Geo News reported.

Police sources told Geo News that unknown armed men opened fire at people gunning down two of them on the spot, while seriously injuring another.

The injured was rushed to the hospital but he could not make it and died shortly after.

Gunfire was still echoing in the area till the filing of this report.

Active deployment of security personnel including police and Rangers has been beefed up in the area in the wake of this acute eruption of violence.
