ISLAMABAD: Condemning US drone strike at Miranshah in strongest words, Foreign Office spokesman Moazzam Ahmed Khan on Saturday said such violations of international laws are only causing trust deficit between the two countries.
Talking to media, the spokesman said that such attacks were not only counterproductive but are also a violation of Pakistan's sovereignty and the sovereignty of the country could not be compromised, he added.
Moazzam said that drone strike is also causing hurdles in war against terror as it is in fact winning sympathies for the militants, the spokesman further said.
Replying to a question, Foreign Office Spokesman said that relations with United States would be re-established according to the recommendations of the Parliament.
The spokesman expressed the hope that issues between US and Pakistan would be settled down through mutual acceptable manners. (APP)
