LAHORE: Amir Jamat-e-Islami, Syed Munawar Hasan on Sunday asked PML-N President Nawaz Sharif as to why he makes such announcements he has no intention to act on, Geo News reported.
He said this while addressing a convention of JI's candidates for National and Provincial assemblies and talking to media persons in Lahore.
Syed Munawar Hasan said Nawaz Sharif had failed to hold an All Parties Conference (APC) on the issue of Balochistan despite his earlier announcement to do so after his visit to the province.
He lamented that PML-N did not event contacted JI before initiating a movement against implementation of the Supreme Court's verdict.
The JI Amir said the Prime Minister would remain on his position until the decision of appeal. However, he added, that the Prime Minister should resign on moral grounds.
