Musharraf's party to support PM on contempt issue

LAHORE: All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) has decided to support the Prime Minister and its allies on the issue of contempt court.

The decision was made at a meeting of central leaders of APML presided over by Gen (Retd) Pervez Musharraf through video link here on Sunday.

It was decided in the meeting that any conspiracy to derail democracy in the country would be foiled and the APML would not become a part of any move against the government.

The leaders in the meeting reviewed political situation arising in the country and denounced the agitation move by the PML-N against the government. (APP)
