LAHORE: Lahore High Court (LHC) Chief Justice Sheikh Azmat Saeed Tuesday expressing his disgust over non-compliance of the court order summoned Punjab IG in the court, Geo News reported.
LHC CJ, while hearing the DSPs promotion case, remarked that most of the judges were found complaining about Punjab government wasting time of the courts, as if it was not taking the court seriously, which it was required to do.
The court in annoyance said that the police do not seem to understand the soft language and added that the Raymond Davis room was vacant in jail where the IG would be sent. The court said that the government officials perhaps think that their time was precious, while that of courts’ of no use.
The court said that Punjab IG police would be indicted tomorrow, thereafter the court orders would be complied.
