PA adopts Bahawalpur, South Punjab resolutions

LAHORE: The Punjab Assembly unanimously adopted the resolutions demanding restoration of status Bahawalpur as province and making South Punjab a separate province, Geo News reported.

Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah moved the resolutions.

Earlier, PML-N, PML-Q and PPP MPA’s had decided to support the resolutions during meetings of their respective parliamentary parties.

PML-N is in favour of restoring the status of Bahawalpur while PPP and PML-Q want to make South Punjab a separate province.
