Adequate fuel being provided to power plants: Dr Asim

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Petroleum Dr Asim Hussain has stated that to overcome loadshedding, adequate supply of fuel is being ensured to power plants, Geo News reported.

Talking to Geo TV, the minister said, despite financial constrains, PSO is fulfilling the needs of power generation plants.

Besides oil, gas is also provided to such plants.

Dr Asim said President Asif Ali Zardari had directed to overcome power shortage by utilizing all resources.

The government working at an accelerated pace to resolve circular debt issue, adding with the resolution of this, loadshedding problem would also be solved to a great extent.
