RAWALPINDI: One police Sub-Inspector and four proclaimed offenders were killed in an encounter at Miyal in the vicinity of police station Chauntara here, Geo News reported.
Police said that on the directive of Rawalpindi CPO a search operation was launched this morning at Miyal in the jurisdiction of Chauntra police station that resulted in a shootout killing the four proclaimed offenders, while the police also suffered the loss of life of a sub-inspector and injury to one constable who was shifted to the hospital.
