Pakistan-India agree on liberal visa policy for different sectors

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan and India have agreed to liberal visa policies in different sectors during two day Interior Secretary level talks which began here on Thursday.

During talks, India provided further evidence to Pakistan regarding Hafiz Saeed and asked that action be taken against him.

The broad agenda of the talks is to focus on visa relaxation, multiple visas for traders, on arrival visa for elderly and children at Wagah border, cooperation in anti-terrorism, progress on Mumbai attacks and CBMs on Line of Control.

On the first day of the talks separate working groups were formed for different sectors which began work on their recommendations.

The talks are led by Interior Secretary Khawaja Siddiq Akbar while the Indian side is represented by Home Secretary R K Singh.
