KARACHI: Two persons were gunned down in on-going violence in the city, Geo News reported Friday.
According to sources, 25-year-old Abdul Shakoor was targeted and shot dead in Bilal Colony in the jurisdiction of Korangi industrial area police station.
Faisal, 24 was killed in Sharfabad in the vicinity of New Town police station and an investigation is underway to determine the motive, police said. The bodies were shifted to Jinnah Hospital for medico-legal formalities.
Unknown gunmen riding a motorcycle opened fire on 30-year-old Shahid Hangoro and injured him in Taj Colony area of Lyari. He was immediately shifted to Civil Hospital for first aid.
Police said the victim Shahid was the president of Sindh Taraqi Pasand Party, Lyari Town chapter. The incident took place when he showed resistance during a robbery attempt, police added.
