KARACHI: Senior politician and former president of Awami Tehreek Rasool Bux Palijo Sunday said that Pakistan had yet not achieved independence, as it was a slave to America.

Talking to media at civil hospital Karachi after enquiring health of those injured in terrorist attack on pro-Sindh rally on May 22 last, Palijo alleged that Interior Minister Rahman Malik was the agent of

USA and MQM. He held him responsible for terrorism in Pakistan.

“The America always creates problems by deteriorating the situation in other countries through its agents, and such elements should be punished,” he said and remarked that the terrorists, US agents were never sent to jail here.

To a question, Palijo said, If he was in power, he would keep Rahman Malik in chains. He added that since Rahman Malik had dual citizenship, his Pakistani citizenship should be cancelled.

To a question he favored action against the killers of bus passengers in Nawabshah district even if the assailants were Sindhis.

He also called for reopening ten thousand cases of terrorism lodged against Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM).

Around 14 were killed and 50 injured in attack on pro-Sindh rally earlier this week. Moreover, the number of injured under treatment at civil hospital is eight.
