PESHAWAR: Security forces killed at least 20 insurgents in retaliation to an attack on the Salala outpost in Mohmand Agency during the wee hours of Tuesday while one security man was also martyred in the battle, Geo News reported.
According to sources heavily armed insurgents attacked the check post killing one security official and injuring three others early Tuesday morning.
Official sources have confirmed militants from across the border attacked the check post in Salala and one official from the Frontier Corp (FC) was killed and three others were injured. Several militants were also killed in the attack however their number could not be confirmed.
