A larger bench of the Supreme Court headed by the Chief Justice Iftikhar Chaudhry was hearing the Balochistan law and order case here.

Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry during the hearing remarked that the court could pass an order under Article 190 for calling the Army Chief, General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani and inquiring from him as to what he could do.

Chief Justice in his remarks further said that the three missing persons about whom he was told, their corpses were thrown on the road.

Justice Jawwad on this occasion remarked that some 835 incidents occurred, but no one was caught.” We are neither the enemy of the agencies nor the agencies are our enemy, we are ready to give credit, but they must perform,” he added.

Attorney General on this occasion said that had there been no efforts the situation would have further deteriorated. He added that 23 missing persons have been recovered.

Chief Justice remarked that member parliament Sadiq Imrani said he was an eyewitness of FC rounding up two persons. If you are bent on doing this with Balochistan, then Army Chief would be called, we could pass an order under the Article 190.
