LAHORE: PML-Q President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain has said Malik Riaz was privy to many secrets behind the rise and fall of governments and their disclosure was liable to expose many so-called credible personalities.

Talking to media here on Friday, PML-Q president advised the public to keep in mind Malik Riaz's various social and humanitarian services amid the current developments.

While recounting Malik Riaz Hussain's several services, Shujat cited his help in billions of rupees for the relief and rehabilitation of the 2005 earthquake and 2010 floods victims, his help to deserving individuals and charitable organisations and his Bahria Dastarkhwan initiative where hungry and poor were being daily fed throughout the country.

He also referred to Malik Riaz's gesture of paying Rs 13 crore as ransom money for the release of Pakistanis captured by Somali pirates.
