60% supply restored: KESC

KARACHI: The Karachi Electric Supply Corporation has said that 60 percent of the areas have been brought back to the system and the utility was trying hard to restore the system completely.

KESC spokesperson, Amin Ur Rahman told Geo News that the emergency response teams are working to stabilize the system and within hours the supply would be normalized.

Earlier on Saturday at around 8.00 P.M the sudden blackout took place due to Jamshoro transmission line of 500KV tripped causing immense inconvenience to the citizens in this holy month of Ramazan.
