PESHAWAR: At least seven militants were killed while 13 were injured during a security forces operation in South Waziristan.
Meanwhile in the Miranshah area of North Waziristan, four remote controlled roadside bombs were defused.
In Kurrum Agency, militants kidnapped five people belonging to tribes in the area. Two people were severely injured when a roadside bomb exploded in Khyber Agency.
Four shops were damaged in Mardan due to bomb explosion. According to the bomb disposal squad, two kilograms of explosives were used.
