LAHORE: Minutes after the Muttahida Qaumi Movemenet (MQM) announced not to attend Tahirul Qadri’s long-match on Islamabad, the Tehreek-e-Minhajul Quran said that the MQM decision would not make any difference, Geo News reported.

In a statement, Rahiq Abbasi, Nazima Aala of the TMQ, said that the Jan 14 proposed long-march would be taken at any cost.

He said that Tahirul Qadri would address a press conference at 3:00 PM today (Friday).

The MQM decision came a day after Qadri’s deadline to the government for electoral reforms and caretaker setup ended.
