CHARDON: The death toll from a high school shooting in Ohio rose to three Tuesday with two more teens succumbing to wounds suffered when a fellow student opened fire in a high school cafeteria.
The alleged shooter, identified as 17-year-old TJ Lane, opened fire Monday with a handgun on a group of fellow students in the cafeteria of Chardon High School in suburban Cleveland shortly after the start of the school day.
Demetrius Hewlin and Russell King died Tuesday from gunshot wounds suffered in the attack. Sixteen-year-old Daniel Parmertor died in hospital shortly after the shooting. Two others, a boy and a girl, were wounded but now in stable condition. (AFP)
