LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) leader Mian Nawaz Sharif said that the government was depriving the patriotic citizens of Lyari, especially the Balochs from their basic necessities on the pretext of operation against the criminals, Geo News reported.
While exchanging views on the matters relating to the country’s political affairs and particularly Lyari situation with the Sindh ML-N president Ghaus Ali Shah, who had called on him at Raiwind Saturday, Nawaz Sharif said this.
Nawaz Sharif said that till now over 30 persons have been killed in Lyari, we don’t consider Lyari operation in the interest of the country.
Nawaz Sharif expressing his solidarity with the Lyarites said that N-League would forcefully resist oppression on the people wherever the government perpetrates. He directed the workers of his party to lend a helping hand to the people of Layari and take immediate relief measures for them.
