OGRA implementation case: SC seeks details of expenses on bringing back Tauqir Sadiq

ISLAMABAD: A division bench of the Supreme Court of Pakistan has called for details to be presented regarding expenses incurred in bringing back Tauqir Sadiq from the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Geo News reported.

The bench headed by Justice Jawwad S. Khawaja directed the NAB Prosecutor General to submit details of expenses incurred in bringing back Tauqir Sadiq, including the fees paid for hiring the lawyer in UAE.

The apex court also sought an explanation as to who assisted Tauqir Sadiq in fleeing the country, while his name was on the ECL.

Later, the court adjourned the hearing until July 24.
