Dallas democrats work together for society welfare: Commissioner
DALLAS: Dallas County Commissioner Theresa Daniel has said that Dallas democrats are like a big family and work together for the welfare of the society.

“The diversity in the room represents the strength of our resolve in serving our community.”

She was addressing the reception in her 60th birthday event at Kirk Hooper Fine Art Center in Dallas. A large number of elected officials and party leadership attended the event.

She said that she is feeling pleasure on the presence of all friends, colleagues and supporters on this joyous occasion for her. She said our mission is solving people's problems and issues and it cannot be done without all this support.

The President of American Muslim Democratic Caucus Syed Fayyaz Hassan and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz Dallas Coordinator Siraj Butt also participated in the event and congratulated Commissioner Daniel for her personal milestone from Muslims and Pakistani community of Dallas Fort-Worth.

Talking to Geo correspondent, Mr. Hassan said Theresa Daniel is an example of great public service for the people of Dallas County and is always very receptive to Muslim community issues.

A large number of elected officials including Judge Carl Ginsberg, Judge Jim Jordan, Judge Patricia Crowder, Judge Marty Lowy Democratic National Committee member Betty Ritchie and her husband and Ex. Chairman of Texas Democratic Party Boyd Ritchie and a number of leadership of Dallas County attended the reception. Commissioner Daniel cut the special 711 cake which is a reminder of her birth month of July.
