Brother of senior journalist passes away
DALLAS: Ishtiaq Ahmed Qureshi, elder brother of a Dallas senior journalist Mr. Saeed Qureshi, passed away in Wah Cantt, Pakistan.

Late Ishtiaq Ahmed Qureshi was a senior official in Pakistan Ordinance Factory and had retired few years ago. He was a popular and well known social figure of the area. He was buried in the graveyard of Basti Karigar Wah Cantt.

The decedent was survived by two grown up sons and a widow.

The prominent political, social and literary, figures of DFW have condoled the sad demise of Ishtiaq Qureshi. Those who have sent condolence messages include the President of Muslim Caucus in America Syed Fayyaz Hasan, the prominent leader of Pakistan Association and founder of Urdu Ghar Dr. Amer Suleman, the General Secretary Pakistan People's Party and as well as the President of Pakistan Council of DFW Akrama Khan and Dr. Ajmal and Community leader Mike Ghouse.

Other community members who have also expressed their sorrow and grief over the death of Ishtiaq Qureshi are President Sindhi Association of North Texas Moazzam Bhangra, Coordinator Pakistan Muslim League (N) Siraj Butt, former President of Woman Wing PTI, Nayyara Syed, the President of Muslim Democratic Caucus Aftab Siddiqui and the Chairman of Muslim Community of Human Services Dr. Bashir Ahmad.

From Among the poets and Journalists, Raja Zahid Akhtar Khanzada, a distinguished Journalist Shah Alam Siddiqui and the founder of the Alnoor International Noor Amrovi have expressed their heartfelt sorrow with Mr. Saeed Qureshi over the sad demise of his brother. They have prayed to Almighty God to grant the departed soul a high place in paradise and give fortitude and patience to the members of the bereaved family.
