Islamabad standoff: three-member probe committee formed

ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Chaudhary Nisar Ali Khan has constituted three-member committee to probe into Islamabad standoff, Geo News reported.

The committee, comprises Additional Secretary Athar Siyal, Senior Joint Secretary Umer Hameed Khan and Director Operations National Crisis Management Cell Fareed Khan, will present its report to the interior minister in 48 hours.

The committee will point out the police officers for their negligence besides presenting its recommendations for action against them.
