LARKANA: The surging Indus water level has flooded twenty more villages in kacha areas here, while the flood-affected people in Sindh and Punjab suffering from various viral diseases, Geo News reported on Saturday.

Sources said with the increase in water pressure on Larkana Nusrat and Aqil Aagani Loop embankment water entered into twenty more villages in kacha areas leaving the flood-hit hapless people awaiting help, which hasn’t come forth thus far. River Indus at Sukkur Barrage recorded high flood, while at Kotri low flood.

While the Prime Minister, Nawaz Sharif will take an aerial view of flood-hit areas in Sindh and he would be briefed about the rescue and relief operation by the authorities.

The flash flood coming from Head Trimo and Head Sadhnai in River Chenab has entered into Head Panjnad hitting several villages in Tehsil Jatoi of Muzaffargarh. Breach in embankments feared as Indus water level at Kot Mitthan and Rojhan surging. The flood-hit people mostly children in three union councils of Rajanpur are suffering different skin and stomach diseases.
