KP Home Dept orders police to collect net cafes data
PESHAWAR: The Home Department of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province has ordered police to collect the record of all the internet cafes throughout Peshawar following the reports revealing that threatening emails were sent through these cafes, Geo News reported Saturday.

According to the sources, the KP Home Department has ordered police to collect the data of the net cafes and bio-data of their owners after receiving several complaints regarding intimidating emails being sent to people from the internet cafes in Peshawar.

Such emails can be harmful to the masses, therefore, the Home Department has issued instructions to police to collect the data of all the cafes and their owners.

The Home Department has also sent the summary to the Inspector General Police, sources added.
