Afridi bowls Pakistan to victory
CAPETOWN: Pakistan beat S.Africa in the 2nd T-20 by 6 runs to level the 2-match series here at Cape Town.

S.Africa got to a good start in reply to Pakistan’s 176 with Hashim Amla (48) and Q de Kock (26) getting 58 for the first wicket in quick time.

But the introduction of Shahid Afridi in the attack changed the course of the match as he got rid of Q de Kock, F du Plessis and AB de Villiers in quick succession bringing the S.African runrate down.

Dumminy kept the S. African hopes alive with an undefeated 47 off 26 balls with 3 fours and 2 sixes but lack of support from the other end saw him ending up on the losing side.

Shahid Afridi with 3-28 and Bilawal Bhatti who gave away only 19 runs in his 4 overs bowled well for the green shirts.

Pakistan now play their 1st ODI on the 24th November at the same venue.
