Developments in Taliban talks should not be kept secret: Imran
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman, Imran Khan welcomed Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s announcement to give peace another chance and hold dialogue with the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).

Speaking on the floor of the National Assembly, Khan said this time around developments in the dialogue process should not be kept secret. The PTI Chairman informed parliamentarians that political parties and the nation were not taken into confidence over the dialogue mandate given to the government earlier. “This mistake should not be repeated,” Khan said.

Khan added that it should be made clear if a ceasefire would be observed during the dialogue process.
