Dr Aamir Liaquat arrives in Mithi with relief goods

MITHI: A delegation of Mehmooda Sultana Foundation, led by prominent host of Geo TV Dr Aamir Liaquat Hussain arrived in Mithi with relief goods.

Dr Aamir distributed goods among the affectees of Tharparkar drought in village Puwasar. The goods included dry milk, flour, thousand of bottles of water, juices and medicines.

The delegation also offered special prayer “Namaz-e-Istasqa” (prayer for rain) in the desert area. The prayer was led by Allama Bashir Farooq Qadri.

Puwasar is a village of drought-hit Mithi where government and NGOs were yet to start relief activities.
