King of Bahrain Shaikh Hamad arrives in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: King of Bahrain, Shaikh Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa arrived in Islamabad Tuesday on a three-day official visit to Pakistan.

Shaikh Hamad arrived on the invitation of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.

During his stay, Shaikh Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa will hold talks with President Mamnoon Hussain and the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on bilateral, regional and international matters of mutual interest.

The visit will also provide a good opportunity to explore ways and means to further strengthen cooperation in diverse areas of interest, particularly in expanding bilateral trade and enhance investments in Pakistan.

He is the first Bahrain leader to visit Pakistan in 40 years.

PM Nawaz Sharif, Army Chief Raheel Sharif and federal ministers accorded warm welcome to Shaikh Hamad on his arrival.
