Groom shoots at bride, kills her friend in Chiniot

CHINIOT: A groom during his wedding ceremony opened fire at his bride but killed her female friend instead here in Moza Kohlian area, Geo News reported Tuesday.

According to police, the groom immediately fled from the scene afterwards.

Those taken into custody by the police disclosed that the groom had come to his wedding with a preconceived murder. The bride, who was lucky enough to survive the attack, claimed that the groom actually wanted to marry the girl he accidentally killed.

Further investigation into the incident was underway.
