Bhakkar cannibals sent on 7-day remand
BHAKKAR: Two cannibals were sent on seven-day physical remand on Wednesday with no prospects of being punished in the absence of a law relating to the heinous crime.

The suspects who were found involved in the crime for the second time are expected to get maximum one year imprisonment and a few thousand rupees fine only to roam freely afterward in a society where cannibalism is not a crime.

Muhammad Arif and Farman Ali got one-year jail term and were fined in 2011 for desecration of human bodies after being found involved in cannibalism.
