APNS calls for arrest of culprits involved in attack on Hamid Mir

KARACHI: All Pakistan Newspapers Society (APNS) condemning the attack on Geo News anchorperson Hamid Mir has demanded to immediately bring culprits to book.

In a statement issued here Saturday, the APNS termed the attack on the renowned journalist as assault on freedom of press.

The APNS said that it is concerned over attacks on journalists and media houses by “state and non-state actors”.

The society demanded of the government to immediately arrest the perpetrators involved in the attack on Hamid Mir.
