Viewers express solidarity with Geo news

Viewers of Geo News have expressed solidarity with the channel calling for it to remain open.

People across the country said the demand to shut down Jang and Geo News was tantamount to placing restrictions on freedom of speech. They added that Geo News had always stood for truth and justice and the role of the channel in strengthening democracy and rule of law can never be forgotten.

Viewers further said they would protest if Geo News was shut down.
