Investigation officer once again changed in Judges' detention case
ISLAMABAD: The investigation officer in judges’ detention case has once again been changed, while the court granted one-day exemption from appearance to the former president Pervez Musharraf today, Geo News reported.

Anti-Terrorism court (ATC) was hearing the judges’ detention case here.

During the hearing prosecutor Aamir Nadeem Tabish told the court that the accused Pervez Musharraf would not be able to appear in the court today since he was in Karachi for his treatment. Thereafter, the court allowed exemption to the accused from appearance today.

However, Pervez Musharraf’s guarantors Rashid Quraishi and Mushtaque Ahmad appearing in the court submitted their reply.

On the other hand, the investigating officer in judges’ detention case has once again been changed, as Riaz Khan stands replaced by Inspector Mutafa Kyani.

Later, the court adjourned the hearing until May 9.
