Guard killed as dacoits try to loot cash van in Pak Colony
KARACHI: A guard lost his life and two others sustained injuries when the dacoits opened fire during an attempt to loot the cash van of a private company in Pak Colony area of Karachi on Wednesday, Geo News reported.

According to witnesses, the armed assailants riding two motorcycles and a car intercepted the cash van of a private company in Bara Board area of Pak Colony and opened fire when the driver did not halt the vehicle.

As a result of firing, the guard inside the cash van got killed and two others received injuries.

Police told that the incident occurred during an attempt to rob the cash van. Further investigation is underway, police added.
