First women police station set up in Benazirabad
BENAZIRABAD: Fifty-three female police personnel including a Station House Officer (SHO) assumed their offices in the first Women police station of Benazirabad division.

Talking to Geo News, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) City Ejaz Tareen said that following the instructions of Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Pervez Chandio, the first women police station was set up in the building of Darul Amaan.

As many as 53 women personnel including SHO Maryam Bharat, 2 Assistant Sub Inspectors and 5 head constables were posted in the new police station.

SHO of Police Station Maryam Bharat said that she would try her best to resolve the issues relating to women and children.
