Over Rs1.12 billion distributed among NWA IDPs

BANNU: Over Rs1.12 billion have thus far been distributed among the internally displaced persons (IDPs) from North Waziristan Agency (NWA), while the distribution of Eid package and dispensation of anti-polio vaccines also continuing at the same time here, Geo News reported on Saturday.

According to the official data available here, 63,326 SIMs have been activated for the distribution of the relief amount among NWA IDPs through cellular phones and Rs1.128 billion have been distributed among the 44,716 families.

Eid package also being distributed among the IDPs by the Pak Army and other welfare organizations, while the dispensation of anti-polio vaccine to the IDP children by government hospitals, medical camps and mobile teams also in progress, sources said.
